Sinn Féin are the only party to have produced a manifesto specifically aimed at young people, an indication of the party's commitment to delivering for youth.
The youth manifesto has been drafted by Ogra Shinn Féin, with policies and proposals drafted by and for young people. Issues covered include suicide prevention, drug and alcohol awareness, education, housing, abolition of ASBO's, road safety, sexual health, youth facilities and Irish unity.

Speaking on the local West Tyrone launch of the youth Manifesto Pat Doherty MP said,
"Sinn Féin are a party of youth, with young people leading the discussion and debate within the party. This allows for greater focus on youth issues with Sinn Féin more than any other party being in touch with young people and prioritising their needs. A simple indication of that is that we are the only party to have produced a youth manifesto."
"We are committed to working with young people to deliver a better future, and the youth manifesto helps outline some practical ways we can do this. Sinn Féin and our very vibrant and active youth wing Ogra Shinn Féin will continue to lead and engage with the widest group of young people to ensure that young people are being listened too, and their voices are being heard. Join with us in creating a better future on May 6th by voting Sinn Féin."
