West Tyrone Ógra produced and erected a further 12 lilies in Carrickmore in advance of the Main County Commemoration on Easter Sunday.

Speaking on the significant promotion of the Easter Lily, South Tyrone Ógra activist, Caolan McAnespie said,

"Over 50 Easter Lily symbols alongside 5 murals have been erected across Tyrone in the lead up to Easter. Alongside that we have been carrying out leaflet drops, and door to door and mass collections with Easter Lilies, to ensure that the maximum number of people, understand the history of the Lily and are encouraged to wear one. Any money collected will rightly go to future commemorative projects on our fallen comrades, and the construction and upkeep of monuments to our patriot dead."
