Solidarity with Palestine
In Dublin this weekend there will be a large mobilisation taking place in Solidarity with the people of Palestine. The march will focus on the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from Deir Yassin in 1948 and the continued oppression of Palestinians in Gaza today.
In 1948 Palestinians were driven from their homeland by the European Jewish settlers, this territory then became known as Israel. The Palestinians did this through a combination of terror and massacre. Today in Gaza this terror and massacre is still prevalent with the Israeli authorities terrorising and massacring Palestinians prompting fears of renewed mass ethnic cleansing.
Israel's continued oppression of the Palestinian people cannot be allowed to go on. Ógra Shinn Féin are calling on Republicans to mobilise in Dublin this Saturday in support of the people of Gaza. Israel continued occupation of Palestine and the oppression of her people is akin to the atrocities of the British in Ireland.
The march will be departing from the Central Bank on Dame st. at 2 o' clock this Saturday 12 April, and will be followed by a public meeting in Wynn's Hotel at 4pm. Republicans must show their solidarity with the people of Palestine and mobilise in Dublin on Saturday - Solidarity with Palestine!
