Did he misunderstand the question? I thought we were talking about unity?

hahaha... idiot. he clearly has nothing intelligent to say on irish unity, and obviously knows that his arguments against it would never stand against our arguments for. so instead he chose to make a fool of himself and act like a 5 year old.

... interesting reply. I would like to point out to Cllr. Gareth Wilson that the painting green of postboxes across the six counties has a number of positive results outside highlighting the folloy of Irish partition.

The paint/white spirits/wire brush/paint brushes and other materials that must have been used here would have been bought from a shop in which people from the local area are employed, in this way Ógra activists are safe-guarding jobs in communities. Also, young people out painting postboxes is surely a worthwhile exercise as opposed to loitering around local hang-out spots looking for a bit of bauldness?

Therefore, by painting postboxes Ógra are combatting anti-social behaviour, giving young people the chance to take responsibility and ownership of a project which will no doubt develop their personal skills and they are also pouring money into the local economy and stimulating job opportunities.

I would like to ask Cllr Wilson why he is opposed to stimulating the local economy and engaging with youth to provide an alternative to anti-social behaviour which, of course, arises from the age-old boredom?

Having said that it may be better not to ask, he doesn't seem excellent at answering questions! :)
