Derry Ógra Shinn Féin hold 2nd annual Function and Presentation Night

Derry Ógra Shinn Féin will be hosting their annual function and presentation night in Seán Dolans GAC in Derry on Friday the 16th December.

The night will begin with support music provided by Ógra member Luke McLaughlin; this will be followed by a presentation made on behalf of Ógra Shinn Féin Doire.

The keynote address will be giving by Sinn Féin councillor and former Sinn Féin Youth member Elisha McCallion.

The Main act on the night will be Glasgow rebel band “Glasnevin”

Tickets for the event are priced at £3; anyone wishing to attend is advised to purchase tickets early. Limited ‘pay at the door’ is available. To book tickets contact Ógra Shinn Féin Doire on Facebook at www.facebook.com/DerryOSF

Derry Ógra Shinn Féin, chairperson, Eamon McGinley said,

“This is our second annual function and I hope we can continue the success of last year’s event. It has been a busy 12 months for Ógra activists, facing three elections with one in the 6 counties, 26 counties and Martin McGuinness’ presidential campaign and countless campaigns around EMA, Student Fees, A President for All and our work with Derry Friends of Palestine and the events surrounding the MV Saoirse/Freedom Flotilla to Gaza.”

“I would encourage young Republicans from the city and further afield to attend this function and support the Na Fianna Martyrs & Pádraig Barton cumann, it promises to be a night of fantastic music and brilliant craic, with Glasnevin being one of the finest bands on the rebel scene. I hope to see you there. Bigi Linn!”
