Vótáil Colin McShane in QUB Student Election

Colin McShane is from Portglenone, County Antrim and a 3rd year student at Queens University Belfast studying History and Politics.

Today and tomorrow (tues 4th and wed 5th of March), he is running in an election for the position of VP Education as a Queens sabbatical officer and as he is a republican activist, we would urge Republicans nationally to assist in the campaign.

If any Sinn Féin or Republican activists know family or friends who attend QUB please inform them to: log onto their Queens Online homepage www.qol.qub.ac.uk and vote Colin McShane for VP Education.

Colin feels strongly about student issues and is asking you to give him your vote in the forthcoming elections for the Student Education officer of the QUB Students Union.

As someone with the necessary personal drive, vigour and motivation he will represent and campaign for the benefit of ALL students, he is the best candidate available.

For too long the Students Union has been inactive and unproductive in efficiently representing the ordinary student.

If elected Colin aims to ratify this, to bring a republican voice and ethos to the Student’s Union and that is why we would urge you to give him your support!

Really gutted for Colin, but his vote was still excellent.

He was a great candidate and very personable.

I even hear he got a few DUP votes to keep Michael Bower of the Alliance party out??

Once again chin up and be proud of your vote!

Good campaign, excellent vote, raised the profile for yourself and Ógra for next year. Bring on the Presidency..

Excellent candidate, got the literature through my door. I didn't think student elections where so professional.

I don't think people should be talking about the GAA or speculating about DUP votes on here. It sounds very student politicy :)

The only thing that people should be concentrating on is that a good campaign was fought and where ever the eaknesses lay, need to be rectified for next year.

Queen's DUP are quite an unsteriotypical bunch this year.

Plenty of females and drinkers.
