The march will assemble Dublin's City Hall on Dame St at 1:30pm and will culminate in a rally at the Dept of Justice, Equality and Law Reform on St Stephen's Green.
It is of vital importance that the maximum numbers of supporters attend this rally to show the political establishment that the issue of marriage equality for same sex persons is not a political tool with which they can fly to gain votes; that it is a matter of equality and justice for all citizens. For more info on the march, a map and list of speakers check out www.lgbtnoise.ie
Issuing the call for people to attend, Gay rights activist Ross Taylor said;
“The question of Civil Marriage for same sex couples is as valid an issue of equality as any which Ógra Shinn Féin campaigns around, be that feminism, education or anti-racism to name but a few. We need to be vocal and supportive of human rights for all, as the 1916 Proclamation promises ‘to cherish all the children of the nation equally’. We must also be vocal and active in the face of increased homophobic and racist attacks in Ireland. We must affirm that the issue of gay rights is as key an issue for Irish republicans as any other equality issue that we pursue in our struggle for an independent socialist republic, inclusive and representative of all.”
“It is extremely important that republican and left progressive activists attend this rally in large numbers. I encourage all those who seriously believe in a socialist republic of equals to converge on Dublin this Sunday to support this campaign.”

Ogra Shinn Fein does not support equality for gays and lesbians.As your main party Sinn Fein/PIRA are a bunch of ignorant murdering terrorists,who will never get into Government in the Republic.Martin Ferris TD shouldn't be a TD..he's a convicted murderer!!Socialists,be they Ogra Shinn Fein or Socialist Workers Party members do not support equality for homosexuals.They would probably commit genocide of homosexual people if they got into government.They are ignorant!
That's right...censor me and don't let the public hear the truth about sinn fein/pira...pricks!
