Doherty launches national Campaign Day of Action

Senator Pearse Doherty, as a member of the United Ireland taskforce, along with National Organiser Donnchadh Ó Laoghaire, and Ulster Organiser Fra Cochrane, took time out from the Ard Fheis to officially launch Ógra's literature for the National Campaign 'Who fears to speak of a United Ireland. These leaflets will be used in Irish Cities and towns over the coming time, to ignite debate and get people thinking about the national Question. St Patricks day, the 17th, will be targeted in particular, but this campaign will continue for a long time to come.

National Organiser Donnchadh Ó Laoghaire, in calling an all areas to get active, had the following to say. 'This campaign is a campaign that cuts to the very heart of why we all joined Sinn Féin. Its our responsibility to popularise republicanism, and to make the social and economic arguments for reunification. This particular ties in well with the work being done by the United Ireland task force, upon which Pearse, among others, are doing great work on.
It's vitally important that all areas get active, on Patricks day, and afterwards, and to engage with young people on this key issue'
