Gerry Adams Canvasses Youth in Armagh



Thursday 23rd of February Gerry Adams visited Armagh City to meet the candidates and with the local Orga Shinn Féin, he encouraged the the young activists to be pro-active in the election campaign and stressed the importance of this election, in particular the role Ogra can play in helping to bring out first time voter's. Damian white of armagh ogra shinn fein, said

"I welcome the visit of Gerry Adams to Armagh city who's visit will strengthen the all ready vibrant sinn fein vote in the Newry/Armagh area. Sinn Fein hope to win the 3 SEATS that they won in the last election with an increase proportion of the vote. it was great to see the large welcoming crowd of local people to greet our party leader, as well as the many young people who turn up to show their interest in sinn fein"
