Speaking on the film, National Organiser of Ógra Shinn Féin Barry McColgan said,
“The film traces Irish Republican Youth from the formation of Na Fianna in 1909 until the modern day activism of Ógra. It traces the role youth played through significant dates and events in Irish history, it also notes some of the campaigns that Ógra have been involved in from their formation in 1997.”
“I would encourage everyone to view the film. It is not intended to give a definitive history of Republican Youth, but only a brief overview of their role in struggle throughout the last century, and it is hoped it will bring greater interest to the struggle to as many people as possible.”
