This weekend marks the first Republican Youth Weekend of 2009. Part of this weekend in Newcastle, themed “From Prisons to Politics”, will be the Cúige Uladh Ógra AGM.
The AGM will see the election of our new Officer Board for the year ahead, and will set the tone for our work in 2009.
We will have the benefit of having our youngest MLA Daithi McKay in attendance, for a political discussion at the meeting. I have no doubt the AGM will be a fitting end to
our Republican Youth Weekend; and a fitting beginning to 2009.
I would like to extend a welcome to all young republicans and all Sinn Féin activists to attend this event.
The Meeting will be in The Belfry, Newcastle Co.Down; on Sunday 11 Jan at 12pm.
