Final Line up announced for Youth Unemployment Conference

The final clár for the forthcoming Youth Unemployment Conference has been announced.
The conference, which takes place this Saturday at 11am in the Teachers Club, will include speakers from a variety of youth related organisations and individuals with expertise in this area.A late addition to the clár is noted Economist Michael Taft, writer of the blog 'Notes on the Front' is regarded as one of the foremost progressive Economists, and has been well ahead of the curve in predicting the economy. He along with our own Eoin O'Broin will be doing a workshop on the need for job creation
We will also have speakers from a whole variety of organisations and other speakers.
The clár is as follows.

11- 11.45 Opening session – plenary ‘What is the reality for the Young Unemployed in 2010’ - Brid O Brien INOU, Others
11.45. – 12.30 Workshops section.
- What can we do to create jobs? (Economist Michael Taft, Unite, Eoin O Broin )
- How trade unions protect jobs, and why we need them (Speakers from Siptu, IWU)
- How to create a vocal lobby for the rights of young people (James Doorley NYCI, Chris Bond USI)
12.30 – 12.45 Break
12.45.- 1.45 Closing plenary – Youth Debate – ‘Creating a political alternative’ (Youth Political Debate - SF, Labour, Socialist Party)
