Politics.ie Editor takes a Shine to Ógra!

(P.ie editor David Cochrane - He of High Intellect.........)

Gerry Junior

He of high intellect, sultan of satire, all round good guy and Dave out of the Royle Family lookalike, David Cochrane recently took a shine to Ógra Shinn Féin on 'HIS' website, Politics.ie.

The wisard of wisdom came across a picture of Ógra's national launch of their Road Safety - 'Moilligh Síos' campaign, which was in Omagh Town Centre which happens to have a bank. Dave being Dave, zoned in on this unbelievable discovery, and hey, the rest is history.

Dave 'Sherlock Holmes' Cochrane and his website look set to win investigative journalist and current affairs website of the year awards, due to this amazing discovery.

Meanwhile he is currently assessing the irony of placing a Bertie Ahern poster outside of, wait for it, a House!

Gerry Junior wishes to acknowledge that Dave is perhaps the most super intelligent person in all the world!

Putting a poster outside a house?

Ah lads, the start of the blog entry was funny, but you lost the run of yourselves.

Still, fair play.

It, just, wasnt, funny..... hard luck ÓSF, you cant beat a winner

I thought Dave was out of order, at least OSF had the opportunity to 'pose' for a photo. You guys make youth politics rather childish, its no wonder people get turned off, if this is the best response you lot have. Petty squabbling and immature. Whats worse, you know it.

Love the satire!!! keep it up

A sense of humour is something hard to come by these days, some of the people leaving negative comments need to loosen up abit.

To that councillor boyo, saying that politics is rather childish because 'satire' is used and then blaming that for youth disinterest. I'd say people look forward to reading political satire more than all that high filluting stuff.

Good stuff lol

No No, Gemma, I said OSF were making youth politics look childish. As someone who said that Pie was taking mick also out of OSF, my point is valid.

Well done on the road safety campaign though

Folks, the ogra sf protest was not just outside any bank....it was the Northern Bank....I thought it quite ironic

Lads, if ye leave yourselves open to such own goals you can hardly get testy if someone shoots and scores. (not sure how it is an own goal if someone else shoots, but it certainly is a weakness in your defensive play).
