Sheena Canpbell Vigil

QUB Sheena Campbell Cumann held a memorial vigil for Sheena Campbell recently. The Cumann orgainsed the vigil at the front gates of the busy university. Many passers by joined the vigil, including some comrades from the Basque Country.

Ógra activist and university V.P. Michal Harkin commented,

“Sheena Campbell was a student of this university when she was murdered by a British death squad. We want firstly to remember Sheena, but also to educate the student body about Sheena.”

He continued,

“We want to let students know what Sheena Campbell was all about. We hope that in some way today we let people know what Sheena stood for, and with many passers by stopping to chat with us, I think we did.”

The Queen’s University Sheena Campbell Cumann remembers with pride, Sinn Féin activist Sheena Campbell.

Well done to Grace and the other members of QUB Ogra.

Pity about the DUP members who tried to intimidate us by taking photographs.
