Ógra organise Youth Canvass in Dublin

On Wednesday 25 April Ógra Shinn Féin engaged in a youth canvass in Dublin. Over 1000 houses where blitzed with Dublin News and many young people where engaged at the doorsteps and on the street.

Barry McColgan, National Organiser of Ógra Shinn Féin said,

“While all Ógra activists are engaged in canvassing and election work in their local area, we are organising a number of specific youth canvasses for the duration of the election in the 26 Counties.”

“We will especially be targeting priority constituencies where we hope to elect Sinn Féin T.D.s. The youth vote can make all the difference in the election, and we know from polls and actual voter pattern that more and more young people are increasingly voting for Sinn Féin.“

“Today’s canvass in Dublin was very positive and many young people indicated that they will be voting for Sinn Féin, because in their words, we are the party of youth, the party of change.”
