Dublin and Louth fans urged ‘Don’t Score an Own Goal!’

Ógra Shinn Féin activists where joined by Dublin’s Aengus O’Snodaigh TD and Mary Lou McDonald MEP and Louth’s Arthur Morgan TD and Cllr Tomas Sharkey outside Croke Park today, to urge GAA fans, ‘Don’t score an own goal, vote No! 2 Lisbon.’

Deep GAA rivalry was put aside before the match as Louth and Dublin activists united to send a strong message to the thousands of spectators on a blistering championship Sunday. Thousands of leaflets where distributed, and a banner was on display as activists engaged with hundreds of fans.

Ógra Shinn Féin spokesperson, Aine Downes said,

“We received a very positive response from the people we engaged, with many using the opportunity to speak to our elected activists. There was a strong message coming from many GAA fans today that they will be voting No! to the Lisbon Treaty on Thursday.”

“A very energetic and vibrant No! 2 Lisbon campaign has been rolled out by Sinn Féin and Ógra over the past few months, but we still have 4 more days to go, and these will be crucial in ensuring the proper outcome for Irish and European citizens. Let’s make everyone proud on Thursday 12th June, achieve a resounding No! vote and send the Dublin government back to the drawing board to re-negotiate a better deal for Ireland.”

Fine people of Ireland,

Please let yours and our voice be heard against the European constitution.
Do not feel intimidated by the propaganda of your government, form your own opinion and fight for your believes.
It's how you held on to your country and identity in the first place (and I trust that you still have that mentality),so why after all this time still lose it??
Those who came before you would turn in their graves, knowing you would hand over your country that easily!

Our leaders can call it a treaty, but don't be fooled, for in legal respect it is truly nothing short of a full-blown constitution.

Ireland (and all other participating countries) will cease to exist, for Brussels will have total and complete power over all European citizens!

"Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer" (One people, one realm, one leader) was forced down our throates during 1940-1945,and now they're trying to do so again!!!

We've been sold out by our own money hungry leaders.
European cooperation can work perfectly without selling out our country and handing over our identity!
But we are not suppose to realise that, for our politicians smell an even bigger paycheck in the united European political jobfield.

So stand up for Ireland!
Stand up for the people of Europe (who were denied to exercise their democratic right)!
The Dutch people voted no,but after that our voices were smothered by our dictatorial leaders by overruling us!
(They just stated that we didn't know what we were doing when voting no,and that we meant yes...)

Each and every last one of you are the last hope of all those millions of Europeans who said no to selling out our countries.
Now let's shove that idiotic European constitution up their arses once and for all!!
Our voices will not be pushed aside!

Don't let your beloved shamrock be overgrown by the incontroleable weed that is the European constitution!!!
Tell all those around you to speak their minds and vote!
Vote for democracy!
Vote for freedom!!

Thank you in advance for standing up for Ireland and the already occupied European countries!
Liberate Europe!

Regards from Panningen, The Netherlands.
