Beidh mórshiúil go lár cathrach Bhéal Feirste ag tarlú Dé Sathairn 9ú Meitheamh, é eagraithe ag eagrais éagsúla atá ag éileamh Acht Gaeilge do na Sé Chondae. Ba mhaith liom mar oifigeach cultútha Órgra Shinn Féin, iarradh ar chách teacht chuig an slógadh tabhachtach seo. Beidh lucht an slógach ag buaileadh le chéile ag an chultúrlann ar Bhóthar na bhFál. Beidh an slógadh ag tosnú ag a haon a cloig.
A rally has been organised for this Saturday, 9th June. The rally, demanding the Irish language act in the six counties will start at 1pm outside the Cultúrlann in West Belfast.
As young republicans we should mobilise and demand that the proposed legislation will safeguard and promote the Irish language. When we talk about freedom we mean socially, economically and culturally.
The Irish language being part of this culture plays an important role in regards our Irish national identity, therefore it is utmost important to attend the rally.
As Culture officer for Ógra Shinn Féin, I am urging everyone to attend this rally and send the message loud and clear that we demand Acht Na Gaeilge Anois!
