Could you design a logo for Spark?

Spark magazine have launched a competition for Ógra activists, supporters and comrades to design a logo for the magazine which is set to be re-launched in August of this year.
Spark is a republican youth magazine launched first in 2001. It continued publication until 2003. It was agreed earlier in the year that Ógra would re launch the magazine.
Spark Editor Barry McNally urged people to submit ideas and designs on the logo,
“Currently we are busy putting the magazine together. We were wondering on how to get ordinary activists and supporters involved in the process of re-launching the magazine. So we have come up with the idea of allowing activists and supporters to design potential logos for Spark.”
“The design and colour scheme for the logos are entirely up to the person’s discretion. However there is a deadline of 4th July for all submissions.”
1st Prize: Bobby Sands Biography- Nothing but an Unfinished Song
2nd Prize: Ógra Shinn Féin polo Shirt
3rd Prize: Awaiting the Lark Book

Submissions can be emailed to Spark on spark_ed@yahoo.ie

Great idea to increase interaction with magazine - I hope the magazine is not just a soap box for Ogra and can be used to engage and discuss prevelent issues amonst Irish youth!
