Derry Ógra Out on Canvass Trail for Martina

Derry Ógra Shinn Féin activists hit a busy city centre on Saturday alongside Sinn Féin's Foyle Westminster Candidate Martina Anderson MLA to canvass young and first time voters.

The youth canvass received a great response, with many young people engaging with Martina on a whole range of youth related issues.

Speaking on the Derry youth canvass, Ógra spokesperson Adrian Óg Kelly said,

"Young people and first time voters can make all the difference in this upcoming election, with your votes we could ensure that Martina, a truly progressive, dedicated, republican candidate is elected."

"Only Sinn Féin are genuinely interested and dedicated in delivering a better and more equal future for all young people. Sinn Féin work with young people to ensure that their issues are being raised at every level of government. Help us make history on May 6th, by voting for a strong republican candidate, dedicated to representing young people, vótáil Martina Anderson, vótáil Sinn Féin."

How can she represent the younger needs of the youth of the north of Ireland if she does not take her seat in Westminster? Or will Sinn Fein represent our needs on the door of downing street as well?
