Mid Ulster Launch of Sinn Féin Youth Manifesto

Young republicans from Clonoe/Coalisland Ógra Shinn Féin joined with Sinn Fein MLA's Francie Molloy and Michelle O'Neill for the Mid Ulster launch of the party's youth manifesto.

The Sinn Féin Youth Manifesto for the upcoming election can be viewed online at www.osf.ie.

Sinn Féin are the only party to have released a youth manifesto in this election, with the document being the end product of discussion and debate by hundreds of young republicans in Ógra Shinn Féin over the past year.

Speaking on the Mid Ulster launch of the youth manifesto, Ógra activist Padraig Quinn said,

"The youth manifesto covers all the most pressing of issues facing young people today, from housing, drug and alcohol abuse, suicide prevention to youth unemployment, and the green economy. We as young people who are constantly engaging the widest group of young people are highlighting and raising the issues that matter most to the youth of today. We are presenting our vision, on how we can find solutions to the many problems facing us and future generations."
"In the upcoming election Ógra Shinn Féin will be priortising the national question, priortising young people and priortising a future that is free, green and left. Only an Ireland that is environmental, egalitarian and sovereign can present us all with a brighter future. Help us deliver all of this by voting Sinn Féin on May 6th. Vótáil Martin McGuinness."
