Fermanagh Ógra gets busy promoting the Easter Lily

Young republicans in Fermanagh got busy this Easter promoting the Easter Lily.

Fermanagh Ógra Shinn Féin produced over 20 Easter Lily murals which were put up throughout the County.

Speaking on the action, Ógra activist Cillian Sweeney said,

"We wanted to promote the Easter Lily to everyone across Fermanagh, particularly young people who may not understand the history or the relevance of such an important symbol. The message was clear in all of our promotion, wear an Easter Lily with pride, and we hope that by our actions we have ensured that many more people, young and old, wore an Easter Lily this year in remembrance of Ireland's patriot dead."
